Online Registration

Thank you to all the families who have registered at https://gecdsb.schoolcashonline.com/.  Our school goal is to get all of our students registered. We currently have 14 of the 21 students in our class registered and our class goal is to reach 100% by Friday.  If you are not currently registered, we sent a new form home in your child's mailbag today.  We are told that it only takes 5 minutes to register.  Thank you for taking the time to register your child!  We value your participation and support as we move towards a secure online payment environment.

Turkey Dinner-Thursday December 18th

As you know, some of our Kindergarten classes will be having a turkey dinner style lunch this Thursday December 18th, 2014.  Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who have volunteered to come help us!  In an attempt to be eco-friendly, as well as to reduce wasted food, we ask that you please send your child with utensils and a resealable container that your child can use as a plate and then bring home any leftovers they do not eat.  Plates and utensils will not be provided.  Please also send your child with a drink.  Thank you for your support!

Winter Wonderland Open House

On Friday December 12th, Sandwich West hosted a Winter Wonderland Open House for parents to join in fun holiday activities with their children.  It was a busy day!  First, we were able to come to school wearing our Christmas gear and we got to bring our stuffed animals to school with us.  Then we went to the school winter concert, which was fantastic, and we had parents come in to do activities with us in the afternoon.  Thank you to all the parents who were able to share in our special day! We had a ton of fun and loved sharing our classroom with our families.  We enjoyed making a holiday craft, building snowmen out of play dough, eating some cookies, going on a word hunt around the classroom and practising writing French holiday vocabulary, and sharing our toys with the adults who came.  Everyone had a lot of fun and the students enjoyed sharing the time with all of the adults.
