Our kindergarten classes had a great time on our field trip to Colasanti’s last week! We painted a clay pot and planted a blue spruce tree! We talked about how to care for the plant too. It needs water, sunlight, and soil. We also made a candy cane craft using pipe cleaners and beads. Some students created a pattern with their beads too! Then we visited the petting zoo and pet the goats and see the other animals. After we washed our hands, we had a snack. Then it was time for the live animal show! We saw some exotic animals like a huge python, a parrot, a hedgehog, and a lizard. It was a lot of fun! Thanks to all of the parents who came with us for the day.
