A Small Request

Dear Parents, 

We hope that you are enjoying your holidays with your child! As you begin to cleanup from the festivities, if you are recycling any Christmas cards that you have received, we kindly ask that you consider sending them our way. Simply remove the back where the sender has written a message and send us the unused fronts of the cards in your child's mailbag. We will save them to use again next year for our writing centre. Thank you in advance! 

The Polar Express

Today we celebrated the end of our week with a trip on the Polar Express!

First we got our golden tickets, and the train conductors (teachers) punched our tickets before we got on the train (carpet) for our ride (the movie).  It was all very exciting.

After some time we were hungry so we had a snack!  We got to eat the cookies we made earlier this week with a glass of chocolate milk.

Christmas Writing

This week many students chose to write letters to Santa as well as to write Christmas cards to their friends and family.  They also participated in another write the room activity which included many holiday words.  The children have really been enjoying writing and we hope that they continue this trend in the new year!
