Pizza for Sale on Wednesdays

Just a quick reminder that Parent Council will be selling pizza every Wednesday starting this Wednesday at first nutrition break for $2.00 a slice. We will take the orders and money on Wednesday mornings. Please send a note stating cheese or pepperoni in your child's communication bag along with the money on Wednesday mornings only. Thank you. 

Pablo Picasso

Last Monday, we looked at artwork from the artist Pablo Picasso.  His style of art is called cubism.  We got to use all different colours when making art like his.  We used curvy and straight lines.  Sometimes we could see hidden pictures in this art.  Here we see a person playing a guitar.  We also saw a woman with a strange face.

The Sense of Touch - Making Flubber

Yesterday Mlle Benneian came in to make some Flubber with us.  The Flubber which is made from Borax, water was very intersting.  It forms a rubbery, bouncy, squishy substance. We had fun stretching it, rolling it, squishing it and making shapes out of it.

Friday's Assembly

Welcome back! We hope you all had a relaxing March break. This Friday March 27th we will be having a character counts assembly. This month's character trait is caring. Students are invited to wear their spirit wear (our school colors are purple and gold/yellow), or their favourite colour.
