The progress of our plants

Last week you saw us plant some seeds as part of our Earth Week activities.
On Tuesday we found the following:

The lettuce had sprouted a lot, and the beans were beginning to sprout.  One of the flower seeds had a small little sprout if you looked really closely.  

Our friends measured to see how high the sprouts were.  The lettuce measured 3 cubes, and beans measured 2 cubes.

Friday:

As you can see our lettuce is growing even bigger.  The bean seed is sprouting and the flower is growing a small thick stem.  

The lettuce now measures 4 cubes tall!
