Last Day!

We would like to thank all the parents for their support this year in helping their child through their first years of Kindergarten.  This has been a wonderful year and we have thoroughly enjoyed watching your children learn and grow.  To the SK's, we will miss you very much but we are positive that you are ready for all that grade one will bring.  To the JK's, we are very excited for you to continue your learning with us next year as the BIG kids in the room. We wish all families a very fun and relaxing summer!  We'll see  you in September.
Sincerely,
Mme Mazzalonga and Mlle Paraschak

Water Day

On this warm and beautiful day we had our end of the year water day!  All of the students had a blast.  A huge thank you to Mrs. Bildfell and the grade 8's and Mme Watts and the grades 7/8's for helping out and participating as well.
 Lining up for water balloons.

 Water sponges.
Mme Watts is super happy to help all the JK/SK's
 Fun in the sun.
 Water sprinkler.
 YUM! Watermelon.
 Staying cool.

 Water tables.

The students loved being able to play with the water balloons.  They tried very hard to toss it back and forth to their partner without letting it fall.  Once they discovered they could get wet it became a game to get many of the teachers and helpers wet.
Water cup relay.

A good game of drip, drip, splash!
Kate having fun in the sprinkler.
 Hayden enjoying watermelon.

Gotcha - way to go Josh!

Team work!  I got your back, you got mine - we can't get wet! (but they did!)

 ...Um, who's next?

This is the look on her face after she dumped that glass of water down Mlle Paraschak's back!

Mlle Paraschak was next to get the bucket...The stand off!

 Time to dry off...
Once we were all in and dried off some of our students drew pictures in their journals of the day they had outside having fun on water day.
