Les Pompiers

Today a fire-fighter parent in  Mme Varsa-Miller's class brought in LaSalle's oldest fire truck and we got invited to check it out!  We talked with them about calling 911 if there is an emergency and the fire-fighters explained to us about all of their gear.  We discussed how the fire-fighters sound funny because of their masks and their air tanks, and we also got to take a tour of the truck.  It was fun and interesting too!  Each child will be bringing home an activity book and a pack of coloured pencils from the fire-fighters.
