Happy Halloween!

Today is Halloween and we are so excited!  Everyone can't wait to dress up and go trick or treating tonight!  We had an extra fun day today and we want to share it with you.

We brought in some healthy snacks to share.

Un squelette!

Many friends brought in candy to send home, so we practised saying trick-or-treat in French.  Friandise ou baitise!

We ate all our yummy snacks.  Thanks moms and dads, they were great!

Mlle Ouellette and Mlle Benneian's class joined us for some singing and dancing to the songs, C'est l'halloween (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYfmQ5eAQlg) and La chanson des squelettes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CKMaRwicSg).

Today we had our spirit assembly. Hayden's name got drawn for showing respect.  He won this t-shirt.  Bravo Hayden!

We did some math: We counted the Halloween shapes and found the pumpkin with the corresponding number.

We did some colouring and writing to candle light (with fake candles of course, that we borrowed from English EY).

We also read some fun Halloween stories.  Thank you to everyone who brought in a book to share!

Mlle Paraschak and Mme Mazzalonga wishing you a fun and safe Halloween!
