Since our students enjoyed investigating whether or not a pumpkin would sink or float, we thought they might be interested in seeing what else sinks and floats. Each student was given the opportunity to find objects around the room that they predicted would sink and objects that they predicted would float. They then got to test their hypothesis and record their results. Please review the pictures below and ask your child which objects float (flotte) and which ones sink (coule).
