Joyeux l'action de grace!

This week we have been learning how to say turkey in French (dindon) and we have talked a bit about thanksgiving (l'action de grace).  We made ourselves a turkey with a lot of hands as feathers and then we added what the students said they were thankful for.  We did some colour mixing at the same time.  The students loved getting paint all over their hands and choosing the exact spot to put their hands.  We looked up pictures of real turkeys on the internet and although many of the turkeys we saw had blue heads, the students decided that ours should still be brown.  Below are a few pictures of our experience.
